Artist's Comments

This is my friend Amy, dancing with her father at her wedding.
it was shot in color originally, but i found it striking in b&w.

What i like best about this is that place where their hands meet
that their hands cover their faces, that their ears show and their
half-closed eyes show and their youth and age is revealed so that
it could be a story about any father and any daughter because
it is an isolated moment about love

I'm still in awe at how you get these precise moments just so right.

Very moving.

This picture made me smile in an instant.

There are no Pan-Asian supermarkets down in Hell, so you can't buy Golden Boy peanuts there.

This is wonderful ^_^ And yes I agree with you, the black and white is absolutely striking ^_^ And i again agree with you on the hands and the closeness of their faces, which gives them a bit of an anomynous identity, to simply reflect on family love ^^

Lovely work ^^

I agree. You have summed it up nicely. Did you have to take the background out? Or was it a fortuitus open hall that sucked the light out of the background? The work and the sentiment it portrays are beautiful. Good job Red!
